Isolde N. Barron aka Cameron Mackenzie
Originally from South Africa, Cameron is aVancouver-based director, producer and drag queen. As The Queen of EastVan, Isolde N. Barron, fuses drag and theatre through shows like The Barron Gurl Show (The Odyssey/TheJunction), Drag 101 (UBCPit Pub) and Apocalypstick (The Cobalt). As the Queen Mother of the Cobalt, aspace she helped transform into a vital queer hub she was a monthly fixture atQueer Bash, East Van's premiere queer dance party. She is currently the head judge ushering in new talent for the Mr/Miss Cobalt Competition, which ran for six years. She has appeared on the cover of various publications including the inaugural edition of SAD Mag. Past highlights headlining the First Pride and subsequent Prides in Campbell River, as well as hosting Xtra's live VancouverPride coverage. In boy form he produces & curates Club PuSh for thePuSh International Performing Arts Festival and is founder and ManagingArtistic Director of Zee Zee Theatre celebrating their tenth season.
Peach Cobblah aka Dave Deveau
Peach Cobblah is known as the Baddest B&*#h of Vancouver and is the creator of the award winning weekly show Shame Spiral, a devilishly regretful weekly dragshow at 1181 which she hosted for almost five years. She helped revive the queer East Van scene with events like HUSTLA, the city’s original queer hip hop event, The Gay Agenda: Glitter & Skin, a monthly party celebrating all forms of masculinity, the annual Mr/Miss CobaltDrag Competition, Eye Roll: Another F$%*ing 90s Party, and Limp Wrist, celebrating queer icons. She can be seen sweating and swaying all over town. She appeared as Hanna the Dominatrix in The Vancouver Playhouse’s final production, La Cage Aux Folles.
