Do you love the theatre? Want to help Canadian theatre grow and evolve across the country?

Canada’s Magnetic North Theatre Festival 2015 will take place in Ottawa, ON from June 4-13, 2015. We rely on support from up to 100 enthusiastic volunteers to make this one-of-a-kind showcase of theatre a success. Your time and energy help us to operate the festival and support Canada’s innovative theatre artists.

Our star volunteers, Richard Ellis & Marion Sharpe

Join our volunteer team and connect with other theatre lovers like Richard Ellis and Marion Sharpe. Richard and Marion have volunteered with us since our first Festival in 2003, traveling to every host city for the last 12 years. They know the benefits of volunteering with Magnetic North go way beyond free tickets and a t-shirt.

“We’ve met people we would never have met otherwise,” says Marion, and not just the celebrities. “While that’s a thrill, it is the festival people and other volunteers that we meet that make this so exciting.”
