The Magnetic North Theatre Festival treats Canadians to the best of English theatre from across Canada. It gives us the opportunity to share our stories, to interpret our history and our times, and to explore how we see the world. The Magnetic North Theatre Festival is an annual must-see cultural event. Make sure your company has a front row seat.

Moveable Feast

A series of intimate dinners or receptions held in private homes across Canada. |

An advocate of the Festival. |

None, however guests will be invited to make a donation to Magnetic North Theatre Festival based on the type of dinner they attend. |

Catered or provided by the host at their discretion with costs being their responsibility. |
Type of Dinner:
Luminary Dinner: An individual with a high profile in the theatre/arts milieu is invited along with guests and friends of the host for the dinner. Suggested minimum donation: $150 - $250 range
Prestige Dinner: The dinner is held in a well-known home in the community, rather than the home of the advocate. And if a luminary guest is present, the draw of the dinner is even more exciting. Suggested minimum donation: Prestige Dinner: $200, with a Luminary guest: $250 minimum
Friends of the Festival Dinner: Anyone interested in supporting the Festival can simply host an event. Suggested minimum donation: $50 - $75 range
Feel free to customize this solution to suit your own needs. The whole idea is that each feast is different and tailored to the home, people and hosts. Here are some suggested variations on the above ideas that can help get your own creative juices flowing:
A wine tasting for 30
A cocktail party for 100
A fish cake Kitchen Party for as many as we can fit in the room
A feast for 50 in the ATP Rehearsal Hall in Calgary, followed by a concert by members of the Old Trout Puppet Workshop
A dinner for 12 of your friends (ranging from a bbq to a four course meal)
