Staging Difference
Canadian Intercultural Theatre Conference with
Magnetic North Theatre Festival
Raising the latest and most urgent issues of Canadian intercultural theatre, this conference is comprised of four main sessions:
Funding
Creation
Collaboration
Dissemination
Canadian theatre's success and growth is dependent on its ability to engage a wider range of audiences from both the immigrant and Aboriginal Communities, as well as its ability to attract the younger crowds of high school and university populations. Bringing together theatre artists and audiences with various perspectives and forms of expression is essential. You can be a part of invoking the creative and transformative potential of theatre to build and define community.
