Dogtown: The Musical

Nakai Theatre & Yukon Circus Society (Whitehorse)
Written by Roy Ness & Grant Simpson
Directed by Lynda Adams
Dramaturgy by D.D. Kugler & Lynda Adams

Inspired by real events in Whitehorse, Dogtown: the Musical sees neighbours set against neighbours and families split as the Supreme Court and Dogtown’s Bylaw Services are pitted against each other over the fate of Trevor the dog.

Trevor has been rescued from an abusive owner, but is sentenced to be euthanized because he has bitten a human. But should he be executed, if his actions stem from his abuse?
