Apply to audition for Ottawa production of Concord Floral

Suburban Beast is looking for 10 Ottawa-area teenagers (aged 16-20) to star in it’s upcoming production of Concord Floral, written by Governor General award-winning playwright, Jordan Tannahill. Concord Floral re-imagines Giovanni Boccaccio’s medieval allegory The Decameron in a contemporary Ottawa suburb, in which ten teens must flee a mysterious plaque they’ve brought upon themselves.

Successful audition applicants will perform in Concord Floral as part of the National Arts Centres English 2015-16 Theatre Season*, as well as in a subsequent presentation of the piece in Whitehorse, Y.T. This production is Directed by Erin Brubacher and Cara Spooner, after having been originally created with a cast of teenagers in Toronto by Erin Brubacher, Cara Spooner and Jordan Tannahill.
