Fourteen nervous passengers on a bumpy transcontinental flight deal with mortality, baggage, and meeting Jesus’ brother Victor in Vancouver. This thrilling, touching and hilarious music and movement spectacle features a wild ensemble of singing travelers.
Nine playwrights from across Canada were asked to contribute a monologue about fear; be it fear of the airplane itself, fear of what lies ahead, or fear of what they are leaving behind. Set to an a capella score using Artistic Fraud’s signature style, all stage action and text is synchronized with the voices. The result is a living, kaleidoscopic, musical stage where spectacle meets story and fear meets courage.
